Twin Peaks Sheriff Department

Sheriff Harry S. Truman

The head sheriff of the local police department, Sheriff Harry S. Truman can be seen being loyal to his duty of helping those who need him.
Harry is all about protecting the local community, sometimes going above and beyond for others, specifically his love interest, Joasie Packard.

Special Agent Dale Cooper

Dale Cooper may be an FBI agent that commuted from the city, but he has a genuine curiousity and interest for the small woodsy town.
When he's not on the job, Dale likes to spend his time eating cherry pie at the local diner, drinking damn fine coffee, studying tibet teachings, meditating on dreams, and enjoying the more simple things in life.

Deputy Cheif Tommy "Hawk" Hill

Hawk is the deputy cheif of the Twin Peaks station. Just like Harry, he's always helpful to those who need him or the sheriff. With an Indigneous background, he also provides extra insight to the local folklores and legends of Twin Peaks as well.

Deputy Andy Brennan

While he may come off as dopey, Andy's empathy is his strongest trait to the point where it can be a valuable asset to problem solving.
Andy is also seen to be entirely devoted to receptionist, Lucy Brennan. His admiration for her is sometimes put through the ringer but he proves his love in the end.

Receptionist Lucy Brennan

Lucy Brennan is proven to not underestimate her for her occupation. Lucy can subtlety adapt and learn new skills for cases.
While she loves Andy, Lucy can be frustrated with him though. Their relationship can go through some ups and downs when it comes to stubborness and lack of communication.

Sarah Palmer

Sarah Palmer is the mother of the deceased Laura Palmer and wife of Leland Palmer.
Completely distraught with the loss of her daughter, we witness Sarah go through the stages of grief throughout. She also appears to experience supernatural occurances that is connected to Laura's tragic end.

Leland Palmer

Leland Palmer is the father of Laura Palmer and the husband to Sarah Palmer.
Leland's occupation is connected to working for Benjamin Horne as his personal attorney, along with both of their daughters interacting with each other.
Leland appears to have expirence the worse end of the grief as he has complete breakdowns whenever he is reminded of Laura.

Laura Palmer

The center to the mystery of who killed this homecoming Queen, Laura's past is felt throughout the show where it haunts some people. Each clue and each secret discovered is proof that Laura had a hidden reality no one knew entirely.

Donna Hayward

Donna Hayward was Laura's best friend. She knew Laura's secrets but even Donna didn't know how much she kept hidden.
While she was with one of the highschool atheletes Mike, Donna has also become close with another guy from school named James Hurley, who was also connected with Laura as well.

James Hurley

James Hurley went to school with Laura and Donna, and is the nephew of Ed Hurley as well.
James loves driving his motorcycle around town and embodies the James Dean like persona, this draws attention to Laura and had the two to be a secret couple.

Bobby Briggs

Bobby was Laura's public boyfriend everyone knew about.
Bobby has an abrasive personality and is also rebelious to the school, the town, and his family back at home.
Even though he was with Laura, Bobby also had a secret relationship as well,with Shelley Johnson.

Major Garland Briggs

Major Briggs is Bobby's father and is a man working in the military. While his specific job occupation from within is often classified, he is an attentive and well meaning father to his son.

Audrey Horne

The rebelious and mischevious airess to the Horne family, Audrey loves spending her time messing around at the family's hotel, causing chaos. She is mutual friends with the people at school and at her father's work, but she tends to have a special interest on Dale Cooper. Because of that, she enjoys searching for clues related to Laura's case, if that means she has a chance of getting closer to Dale during the investigation.

Ben Horne

Ben Horne is the rich buisness man of Twin Peaks. His power runs deep. From running The Great Northern Hotel as the owner and manager, to running shady buisness deals to further monopolize the local town. He has a strained relationship with most of his own family, this sometimes gets to Audrey to act out on him.

Josie Packard

Josie Packard owns the saw mill company of Twin Peaks,inheritated from her late husband. Because of her beauty, she tends to get many admirers but none admires her more than Harry. Josie shares affection back with him, becoming a secret couple.

Catherine, her sister-in-law, doesn't like how Josie runs the company and sometimes suspects there's more to Josie than what she is leading on.

Catherine Packard

Catherine Packard is both the sister of the late Andrew Packard, and the in-law of Josie Packard. Catherine does not trust Josie where she tends to find ways to take her out of her position as an owner, even going to Ben Horne to make secret deals. She can be seen as having a stubborn strong personality, becoming more evident on how she treats her husband, Pete Martell. Constantly berating him and treats him more like a worker than a spouse.

Pete Martell

Pete doesn't have much authority on how the Packard family buisness is run, but he doesn't let that affect him as he likes doing his mundane tasks. He admires Josie, maybe even has a crush on her. He sometimes can't stand how arrogant Catherine can be but he still is devoted to her as well, as a husband.
Pete is a fishing enthuist and loves to take part in the activity when he can. He is also a surprisingly good chess player as well.

Norma Jennings

Norma Jennings is the owner of the local Double R Diner. A kind woman through and through as she tries to live her life while her husband, Hank, is in jail for his troubled past. Norma has secret feelings for Ed Hurley, someone she knew since high school. But she knows she can't say her true feelings due to being committed to Hank and respecting Ed's marriage of his own.

"Big" Ed Hurley Jr.

Big Ed owns the gas station in Twin Peaks. Along with being James' Uncle, he is married to the quirky Nadine. Big Ed wants to be a good man to Nadine but he is conflicted as he also has stronger feelings for Norma Jennings that go back to their highschool days.

Nadine Hurley

Nadine has her quirks. Her main quirk is being obsessed with having the quietist curtain rods and making alterations to them to achieve such silence. When she is not focused on her passion project, she loves to workout her superhuman like strength through exercises. Nadine loves her husband Ed, but she has strange ways of showing it.

Shelly Johnson

Shelly Johnson waitresses at The Double R Diner with Norma Jennings. She is in a troubled marriage with Leo Johnson to where she experiences domestic violence at home from him. This doesn't stop her from living on the wild side though, as she has an affair with her old classmate, Bobby Briggs.

Leo Johnson

Leo works as a trucker but manages to stay home, being controlling to his wife Shelley Johnson. Leo is cruel in nature, to the point where it spreads into having a double life more sinister than what Shelley could imagine.

Dr.Lawrence Jacoby

Dr. Jacoby is the local therapist of Twin Peaks. Eccentric in nature, Jacoby loves tropical places like Hawaii that reflects his choice of fashion as well. While his methods of therapy are unconvential, he can be helpful when he feels like it. The client he cared about helping the most was Laura Palmer, where she revealed her darkest secrets to him.

Margaret Lanterman aka "The Log Lady"

The Log Lady is given that nickname due to her carrying around a tree log. Believed to have messages of the future, she takes for caring to the log with the utmost sincerity. Her log often leaves cryptic yet accurate messages for the people in town that need to hear them. The Log Lady visits the local diner there and would participate in town council meetings, but she is reclusive though and stays in her cabin home.

Agent Albert Rosenfield

Albert Rosenfield is a federal agent that specializes in forensic. While he is good at his job, Albert tends to not understand when his stubborn and snarky personality can come off the wrong way towards the sheriff's department. A total contrast to Dale Cooper.

FBI Deputy Director Gordon Cole

Gordon is the head of Dale Cooper and Albert Rosenfield's department. He is intuitive to where investigations need to head next. Gordon tends to be hard of hearing both to himself and others around him, as he is partially deaf and needs to wear an unreliable hearing aid to communicate.

Madeleine "Maddy" Ferguson

Maddy Ferguson is the cousin of the late Laura Palmer that shares a striking resemblence to the deceased. Maddy stays temporarily with Laura's parents as they all mourn from her passing. She is less grief stricken with Laura's death though as she is sociable and caring, making her a great support system for the family and a nice new friend for James and Donna as well.

Denise Bryson

Denise Bryson is an expert in the DEA department and visits Twin Peaks when her co-worker, Dale Cooper, needs help proving his innocence under a set up case. She is open about her transgender experiences as well, recalling her old life on how she became comfortable with her gender identity, and experiencing gender euphoria as well.
